Student Fund Appeal

Meg Federico has set up a GIVING PAGE on CanadaHelps to raise funds for Karma Dolma who will be going to St. Mary's University in Halifax in September.  The university has awarded a scholarship, Meg has offered her home for Karma to live in, Karma will be working part-time (already has a job!!), and donors have pledged some funds.
BUT  there is still about $5000 needed to cover Karma Dolma's expenses.

Well-Drilling in Namo Buddha starting soon

Thanks to our donors worldwide for raising half of the funds needed for the well at Namo Buddha Monastery.   Another $19,000 is still needed.
Gloria Jones, Rinpoche's secretary says that drilling "will begin in the next week as it will take a couple of months and the situation is dire."
