Thank you to Eileen Parker and Mary Lou Greenwood and everyone from their group in London, Ontario, for making Shirley Blair's presentation a rousing success. She presented slides at the Church of St. Jude and at London Hunt and Country Club They raised over $7200 for Vajra Vidya Foundation.

Load-shedding in Nepal = no electricity
Power cut up by one hour REPUBLICAKATHMANDU, Jan 14: The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has decided to increase load-shedding by one hour with effect from Sunday. There will be 12 hours of power cut every day from Sunday onward. Shirley Blair, director of SMD Boarding School in Kathmandu, will be in London, Ontario, on Wednesday, January 26. After that she goes to Halifax, NS, for a presentation at the Shambhala Centre on Sunday, January 30 and then will be at Thrangu Monastery in Richmond, BC, on February 6. Shirley has lived in Nepal for 14 years overseeing the improvements at SMD in academics, health and safety, and technology.
