Hello everyone,
For those of you who have contributed to my 8-year-old son Ben's bottle drive, thanks so much! With this money Phurbu's mom will be able to start her apron weaving business. We've now raised $1,146.12 to send to his family through Shree Mangal Dvip Boarding School in Nepal. This school promotes education for children from the poorest Himalayan border regions of Nepal.

EARTHQUAKE UPDATE

Dear friends,
On September 18th, a 6.9 earthquake hit Kathmandu. Although there were some fatalities in the Kathmandu Valley, all of Thrangu Rinpoche’s nuns, monks and lay children were unhurt, and the building sustained no visible damage.
