Digital Media Literacy Workshop

Dawa, (on left in orange shirt) SMD Gardener, and the kids from SMD at the tree nursery near the school.  They have grown many hundreds of seedlings and are transplanting them to prepare for moving to monasteries, the nunnery and other areas. This is part of Karmapa's aim to take good care of our planet.

vimeo.com This video was conceived and created with the kids of the Shree Mangal Dvip Boarding School in Kathmandu, Nepal in March, 2009 as part of a week long media workshop.

This is a bird of peace by SMD student Jigme Gyaltsen who passed away playing soccer for SMD School in July 2010.  He will be missed.
